PEPE Chile warming up children in the chilean winter

Winter is cold and rainy in southern Chile, with frosty mornings and nights. For those who don’t have a good sweater, this time of the year becomes very difficult to bear until spring comes.

As at PEPE we work with unemployed families and families with serious economic difficulties, especially after the pandemic, we saw the need to help them by ensuring that their children have warm clothes to be protected during the winter.

With the support networks that showed solidarity with the cause, we gathered 3,000 items, including socks and underwear, to protect 400 children in places where winter has very low temperatures.

The children’s joy when receiving our visit, the smiles on their little faces, made worth all the effort to collect the clothes and transport them to the PEPE’s units.

Pray for PEPE’s units in Chile, for the strengthening of the support networks, and for God to show his mercy by not allowing children and their families to lack on anything.
