In September of this current year happened in Guinea-Bissau the missionary-educators’ retreat which the topic was: Seek to find out and do everything the Lord wants you to do (Ephesians 5:17)”.
During the retreat the MEs participated to lectures related to spiritual life, learnt new songs, and had the opportunity to get familiar with the new documents, games and movies. Highlighting above all that moments of reflection and devotionals were the priority. The event had the participation of 65 MEs coming from different parts of the country, 2 area coordinators and the national coordinator. The missionary church Heal Our Earth that hosted the meeting has supported the program, including with a unit of PEPE.
This retreat, that happens yearly before the beginning of the school year aims to enable the MEs, giving them tools to better serve at PEPE and in their community. This occasion receives the material to be used during the school year and has the opportunity to share knowledge, strengthen their friendships and produce materials together. They also learn about the families visitation (PEPE GOES), how to organize and prepare evangelical activities, celebration dates and educative lectures for the parents and the community.
We are thankful to God for the formation, vision, participation of the MEs and for the cooperation of partners. We have the challenge to organize the next year retreat that will be in the South of the country or in the Island. We count on your prayers for the churches to have the vision of cooperation, investing in their missionary-educators.
