Missionary-educators meet for continued formation in Dominican Republic

One of the strong points for the development and growth of our program, PEPE, is the dedication of a time in each quarterly month for the continued formation for our missionary-educators. A time not only of training, but also of communion and strength renewing to keep going forward. I like to see how they happily hug each other in the meeting and soon exchanging ideas about what each one is doing at the units.

It was like that, that on May 31st, at the installations of the Dominican Baptist Convention, the team of missionaries-educators of the Caribbean islands met. In a fresh environment full of communion we studied the topics: Children’s musicalization at PEPE, visual arts, how to form the parents Committee and to work with emotions. Everybody made all the efforts to learn with all attention and enthusiasm to return and teach everything that was learnt to the pepitos and pepitas.

We used this time to present the PEPE Program and two new churches that will be starting two new units next school year, that for us start in August. They got very happy and excited to start working with the children from their communities, and for God’s glory, soon we will be starting these two units.

We thank the Lord for this formation journey and we also ask for Him to help us to do what we are supposed to do in this beautiful work with the Dominican Children. We go forward directing the children to our God’s kingdom!
