PEPE in Nicaragua Continues to Grow!
The Baptist Hospital of Nicaragua, as part of an agreement with PEPE Nicaragua, which includes providing medical care to children, has given medical attention to all the children at the “Joyitas de Jesús” Unit of the Resurrection Baptist Church, located in the Bertha Calderón neighborhood, north of Managua.
The Baptist Hospital is a ministry of the Nicaraguan Baptist Convention. Since 1928, Nicaraguan Baptist churches have dreamed of a hospital project. Miss Evelyn B. Cranska, an American, decided with her family to donate funds to purchase a property that belonged to Dr. Rodolfo Espinoza Ramírez (an eminent liberal politician) to build the hospital facilities.
The Baptist Hospital and PEPE Nicaragua firmly believe that the comprehensive care of children includes not only medical care but also emotional support and the creation of a positive and loving environment. Every smile counts, and together we continue to create unforgettable moments for our children. Pastor Omar Arcía Hernández was very happy and satisfied with the care the children received at the hospital.
Seeing the boys and girls of PEPE being cared for by nurses and doctors, receiving attention, and being valued as individuals fills our hearts with joy because all we want is for them to grow with physical, emotional, and spiritual health so that they can be happy today and become adults who will make a difference in the country and the world.
Pray for the PEPEs in Nicaragua, so that we may continue to grow, caring for the children God has entrusted to us this year, and also opening new units. Pray for the missionary-educators and the coordination team because we want to keep working until our mission is complete!
