Volunteer university students at PEPE Argentina

PEPE “Rayito de Sol,” from the Zion Baptist Church, was the first to open 13 years ago and continues to serve many children in the community of Leandro Alem, in the state of Misiones, Argentina.

This year, the anniversary celebration was a grand event, welcoming 20 young Brazilian students from the Theological Baptist University of Ijuí. With all the energy of youth, they walked through the entire neighborhood, visiting each child in their homes, praying for the families, and sharing God’s love. We saw the PEPE VAI (Child Support Visits) being put into practice, bringing joy to the heart of our missionary-educator Zulma Gonzales.

Together with the church, different activities were carried out involving the mothers of the children in a time of fellowship and learning, culminating in a delicious community lunch. With the children, they engaged in joint activities with many songs of praise, Bible stories with puppets, and lots of joy.

We praise God for the lives of each of these young people who dedicated their time and came to help us fulfill the mission, spreading seeds of hope in the hearts of the children of PEPE Argentina!
