From June 1 to 8, 2025, the children at the Little Dreamers unit in Belize joyfully participated in the Day of Prayer promoted by the Mãos Dadas Network in partnership with PEPE INTERNATIONAL — a global initiative that mobilizes prayer for vulnerable children and for those who work for their well-being.
Our “pepitos,” as we affectionately call the PEPE children, took an active part throughout the week, lifting up prayers for their fellow PEPEs around the world, for the Missionary-Educators who accompany them daily, and for the area, national, regional, continental, and global coordinators of the program. With joined hands and sincere words, they also interceded for their own families, for the children of their country, and for a more just and loving society for all.
The event not only touched the hearts of the children but also inspired youth, parents, and adults in the community, who joined this movement of faith with reverence and hope. It was a week of spiritual unity, where even the humblest voices reminded everyone of the transforming power of prayer.
Actions like this strengthen PEPE’s purpose: to raise a generation that not only learns with joy, but also prays, dreams, and loves. We are grateful to see how, from a small English-speaking country in Central America, the children of Little Dreamers are becoming intercessors for God’s Kingdom and for those most in need.
We give glory to God for every “pepito” and for every person who answered the call to pray! Let us continue to believe that when children pray, heaven listens and the earth is transformed.
