Today, we experienced a historic and emotional moment in Guinea-Bissau: we held the graduation ceremony for PEPE children in all our units, officially marking the end of the 2024/2025 school year. We praise God, for we know it was not easy to get here — we faced challenges, limitations, and many barriers — but with faith, dedication, and much love, we succeeded in graduating 205 children, a milestone that fills our hearts with gratitude and joy.
In each unit, the celebration was special. Parents, churches, and communities rejoiced with each diploma awarded. Seeing the smiles on the children’s faces and the sparkle in their parents’ eyes is something words can hardly describe.

One of the moments that touched me most was the testimony from the south of the country, from the Adonias unit, which is in its first year of operation. During the ceremony, parents and the community leader officially requested the expansion of classrooms, as just two are not enough to meet the high demand for preschool education in the region. It was the first graduation ever held in that village, and the area coordinator reported that, on that day, everything stopped: the whole community accompanied the children to the church, showing impressive support. It wasn’t just the parents present, but all the residents, celebrating this victory together. It was beautiful to see the result of the work of the Missionary-Educators who, with dedication and excellence, joyfully fulfilled the calling God placed in their hearts.
In the capital, Bissau, we held a large joint activity, bringing all units together. We invited evangelical media, including Radio Voice of Hope and Guinea-Bissau Television (TGB). Our goal was not only to celebrate but also to give visibility to PEPE’s work in the country, raise awareness in society about the importance of protecting children, and reinforce the essential role of parents in supporting their children’s education. Watch this special graduation moment and testimonies in this video:
The social impact of this work goes beyond the classroom: PEPE has transformed entire communities, awakening dreams in places where there was no hope before. Families are strengthened, churches become more active in the mission, and children discover from an early age that they are loved by God and their community.
In all things, we give thanks to God. To Him be all honor and glory for every life transformed, for every family reached, and for every smile conquered. May He continue to sustain us and expand the reach of this beautiful and necessary project for Guinea-Bissau.
