From June 11th to 13th, we joyfully held the PEPE Venezuela Congress under the theme: “A child is born to be happy!”
It was truly a miracle from our God: despite the difficult reality we face in our country, we had 100% attendance — all area coordinators and missionary educators were present, totaling 176 members of our national team.
Pastor Ycaza was our main speaker, powerfully impacting our lives with the topic of spiritual mental health. We also had the valuable participation of speakers in the fields of pedagogy and child psychology, including our area coordinators: Marisol Rivas, Alexis Cortéz, and Zuleima Rojas. Their contributions were incredibly enriching and offered new perspectives on child well-being.

Throughout the event, we held various lectures and panel discussions focusing on key topics such as: Understanding the PEPE Program, Implementing PEPE Units, Complementary Projects, Child Development, Planning, Learning through Play, Enhancing Knowledge, Home Visits, and many other practical and effective strategies for cultivating and strengthening children’s holistic development from their earliest years.
Among the most relevant conclusions of the congress, the need to adopt a holistic approach was emphasized — one that considers the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive dimensions of childhood in order to promote the happiness of each child, both within and beyond the PEPE Program.
Our goal remains firm: to keep working so that every Venezuelan child knows they were born to be happy!
