With the theme “PEPE teaches you to protect the dwelling place of your Creator,” we shared with the children and many adults the biblical reasons for protecting children’s bodies from abuse.
During the whole month of July, the Panamanian Women’s Union, in its prayer meetings, was focused on child care, since it is the month of celebration of Children’s Day in our country. PEPE was responsible for leading the first meeting. Children from the units participated in the welcome and prayers. The talk was presented by Sister Marisol Vargas, who is the coordinator of the Calzada Project in Colombia.
It was an excellent opportunity for us to present the PEPE Network’s Child Protection booklets. At this meeting, which was held in a zoom room, we had the participation of 50 people, 18 of them being children from our PEPE units.
PEPE Panama instructs children to say NO, in order to protect their bodies, the home of their Creator.
